certicate.HTTPS(HypertextTransferProtocoloverSSL)isaprotocolusedtoencrypttrafcbetweenwebbrowsersandservers.The

HTTPScerticateensuresencryptedexchangeofinformation.SeeHTTPSonpage40.

Thedefaultadministratorusernamerootispermanentandcannotbedeleted.Ifthepasswordforrootislost,theproductmustbe

resettothefactorydefaultsettings.SeeResettoFactoryDefaultSettingsonpage46.

TosetthepasswordviaastandardHTTPconnection,enteritdirectlyinthedialog.

TosetthepasswordviaanencryptedHTTPSconnection,followthesesteps:

1.ClickCreateself-signedcerticate.

2.ProvidetherequestedinformationandclickOK.Thecerticateiscreatedandthepasswordcannowbesetsecurely.

3.Enterapasswordandthenre-enterittoconrmthespelling.

4.ClickOK.Thepasswordhasnowbeencongured.
